“In late 2018, my wife and I decided to purchase a home in the Ft. Lauderdale/Davie FL area. I studied various realtors on the Zillow Web site, including reading their backgrounds and reviews. I have dealt with numerous realtors over the years ranging from Australia, Canada, Tennessee, Alabama, to Louisiana buying and selling homes. Based on my research, I chose Eyvonne Kafouros. I have been working with her from roughly early Nov. 2018 through Jan. 2019. Each time I have called her, and there have been numerous communications, she has answered the phone and was immediately helpful with my questions and helping us identify specifications for a home in south FL. Eyvonne went over and above my expectations of a good realtor. She exceeded my experiences with previous realtors, and I have had some very good ones. For example, she frequently sent me photos of relevant properties, visited specific properties to inspect them for us, and made pictures/videos of properties I wanted her to investigate in even more detail. Although I live roughly 700 miles from Eyvonne, I felt I was better off having a trusted, experienced realtor personally see the properties and send me personal information on prospective homes that is often not readily available (for example, photos of negative aspects of certain properties), which is not often shown on a sales Web site. In addition, Eyvonne provided me with lists of mortgage lenders, home inspection firms, and title insurance companies for me to consider when needed. She also had available a number of individuals who could perform any specialized work needed on a chosen property. Principally because of Eyvonne's work, we were able to go to Davie, FL and investigate the house we chose on which to make an offer. She handled the negotiations in a very professional, timely manner, and we ended up spending significantly less than anticipated.
