Patty McGuire PA

Born and raised on Long Island, Patty McGuire comes from a long line of public-service professional nurses, police, and firefighters - which instilled in her a lifelong drive to help people and deliver results. Competitive by nature and committed to excellence, she brings that same determination into every aspect of her real estate and asset-management work.

Patty began her career in Florida in 1984 with The American Express Company in Fort Lauderdale, where she was trained by some of the nation’s top business and service-quality experts. After five years in the fraud and credit division, she was promoted to an elite “Special Handling” unit at the Eastern Regional Operations Center, serving American Express’s most affluent and priority clients with complex and urgent needs both domestically and internationally. This foundation developed Patty’s exceptional communication, crisis-resolution, and client-relationship skills - qualities that later became invaluable in the distressed-asset space.

Patty advanced her financial services background as a Registered Representative with Prudential Insurance and Financial Services, holding multiple federal securities and insurance licenses. Working with both businesses and individuals, she structured pension plans, wealth-preservation strategies, and long-term investment solutions, strengthening her analytical expertise and her understanding of financial risk and asset value.

Returning to Florida in 2005, Patty entered real estate at the height of the national market collapse. Cape Coral quickly became “ground zero,” and Patty leveraged her financial knowledge to bring solutions to a distressed community.

Her experience spans investor relations, loss-mitigation negotiations, market-value assessments, occupancy/condition reporting, and managing complex property challenges from assignment to closing. Patty understands the importance of speed, accuracy, and transparent communication when representing institutional clients.

Today, Patty focuses on general real estate sales as well as bank-owned asset disposition, commercial acquisitions, and leasing. She offers lenders and asset managers a proven track record in turning distressed assets into successful sales with minimal friction and maximum return.
