Sherry Grooms

Sherry has been a Realtor since 1999, and is a Florida Native of the Tampa Bay area. On the State level she served as the 2016 Florida Realtor District Vice President for District 13 and continues to serve on several committees at the state level. Sherry is also a 18 -year recipient of the Florida Realtor Honor Society and has been a Major Investor for 10 years.

On the local level, she is proud a member of the Realtor Association of Sarasota & Manatee, and served as the Manatee Association of REALTORS 2014 President overseeing the merger between Manatee and Sarasota, creating the REALTOR Association of Sarasota & Manatee in 2015. She was honored to receive the local association’s Distinguished Service Award in 2012 and 2014 "REALTOR of the Year".   She has been a proud member of Women's Council of REALTOR'S - Manatee Network since 2001 and served as Local President in 2003 and 2019, she has served on numerous committees in the past and continues her support as a committee member today. Women’s Council of Realtors has also honored her with Rising Star award, Humanitarian Award, Mentor of the Year, Founders Award & Entrepreneur of the Year.
