It is just 2.2 miles from the University of Florida, 6 minutes by car or easily bikeable. 'Lazonby Acres, comprised of 40 acres, was named after the original property owners. The neighborhood has long attracted professionals in the medical and other professions due to its close proximity to the University and downtown.
